Preliminary results of survey on bactrocera dorsalis hendel of mango in Binh Dinh province

This paper present the results of survey on B. dorsalis of mango orchards in Binh Dinh province in 1997 and 1998. The fruit ny is a Senous insect of mango in Binh Dinh, B. dorsalis distribution both of districts and Qui Nhon city. Thei fruit fly harmful to 4 general cultivars: cat: tuong, thanh ca, da trang. The fruit fly harmful to green Zijipus, guavar and plum, too. There are 4 generates of the fly in the mallgo fruit season. The infested rate of the fly is highest ln May. The rate increase from the pre-mature fruit to the mature fruit. It is necessary to continue study about the B. dorsalis research of mango and measure control the fruit fly in Binh Dinh province.
