The usage of the lime and organic fertilizers eliminated negative chemical characteristics of the pseudogley: the acidity of soil was reduced as well as content of mobile aluminium. The basic cations were increased in the adsorptive complex of soil and reduced hydrolitical acidity. The contents of available phosphorus and potassium was increased. When the NPK fertilizers applicated only, average yields of silage maize are lower for 13% in comparison to the control plots. By the application of lime in the combination with NPK and organic fertilizers, silage maize yield increased from 29.22% to 85.60% with regard to the control.
