A trial system and a technique for investigation of the effect of the disturbancies on the disc opener operation

The paper presents the typical arrangement of a trial system for investigation of the dynamic behaviour of the mechanism for suspension and digging down of the openers (MSDO) of a seed drill for fused sowing of cereal crops, developed at the "Agricultural Engineering" department of the RU "A. Kanchev". The technique for conducting the experimental investigations and the measuring equipment used, are described. The trial system has good capacities for a planned multi-factors investigation of the effect of the various parameters of MSDO, of the casual disturbances because of the terrain unevenness, and of the soil resistance, on the uniformity of the seed sowing depth. The measuring equipment, together with the microcomputer system and the relevant software, records, processes and visualized with high accuracy the observed casual random processes of furrow depth and soil resisting force.
