The purpose of the present investigation was to some study white cabbage cultivars and hybrids with regard to the changes in quality of the produce after a four-month period of storage.Eleven cultivars and hybrids of white cabbage grown after a technology of late field production were investigated.The following indices were studied:storability;content of dry matter,total nitrogen,total sugars,cellulose and vitamin C; general vital condition,colour, and taste.It was established that the preservation of white cabbage quality and the intensity of metabolism during the period of storage are specific for each of the tested cultivars and hybrids.
