Have different systems of growing of perennial grasses influence to nitrogen loses?

A plot field trial was established an the experimental f elds of the Czech University of Agriculture in Prague-Suchdol in 1996. Stationary field lyzimeters for observing nitrates leaching were installed under undamaged soil profile in the same time. Measuring of nitrate concentrations began since the 1997 under plots with 4 different managing (1x, 3x cutting with the mass removing; 1x, 2x mulching). The values of nitrate concentrations commonly didn't exceed the Czech stndard for drinking water. After 5 years of observing is the best managing system 1x cutting with the mass removing (the smallest nitrogen loses). The trial might be finished in 2002.
