This work presents the results of measurements of osteological material of Przewalski horses from the collections of the National Museum in Prague and the Hippological Museum at Slatinany in the Czech Republic. Eighteen skulls and 2 skeletons were analyzed. A special attention was given to the so called old Prague line 7 originating from the breeding herd at Halle because a domestic Mongolian mare was used there. The results of this research enabled to determine the origin of the skulls with more precision and showed also that some of the osteological material did not belong to the presumed individuals. For example the skull No 225 K 216 is not the skull of the famous mare Minka as it was supposed till now, but it is, according to the new craniological measurements, a skull of a 2-years old stallion, probably the stallion Leo from the second generation of the old Prague line 7. A review of the material analyzed in Russian and Ukrainian museums completes the article.
