The paper analyses the effects of intermittent feeding on quantitative and qualitative growth, as well as on food bioconversion in the rainbow trout. Intermittent feeding may be defined as the division of every daily half-ration into three approximately equal portions and their successive adminitration at intervals of 20 to 30 minutes.
