By contrast to present practice, precision (site-specific) crop production technology regards not whole fields, but field sections, of a size depending on the local conditions, as the smallest units for agrotechnical measures. The experiments were carried out on a 32.5 ha field near the village of Acs sown with maize in 1999 and 2000 and harvested with the RDS system.
