As a result of biomanipulation with fish the aerobic conditions can be stabilized in the sediment. During the invvestigation of the ecological state of deadarm ecosystems the simultaneous analysis of the nutrient content of the sediment and the redox conditions results a more precise evaluation than the usage of the methods based on water quality.
