The paper gives results of researches on the levels of accumulation of trace elements in the prawn Macrobrachium nipponense (de Haan) introduced into the cooling reservoir of the Moldovian hydroelectric station. Functional correlation between the levels of accumulation of trace elements along ontogenesis and body weight of the hydrobiont is demonstrated. Coefficients of accumulation of trace metals in the prawn body showing its correlation with their content in water are presented.
