The pear sucker, Cacopsylla pyri is the key pest in the Hungarian pear orchards, where broad-spectrum insecticides and artificial fertilizers are intensively used. Owing to the regular application of IGR compounds the population density of pear sucker decreases but at the same time some reactivated pests as summer fruit tortrix moth (Adoxophyes orana), pear sawfly (Hoplocampa brevis) will be abundant. Anthocoris nemorum and Coccinellidae species could follow the increase of the C. pyri still they could not control its populations. The spiders (Clubionidae and Thomisidae) could be determinig factor in the control of C.pyri populations
