Two spotted mite (TSM), Tetranychus urticae Koch., is major problem on okra crop during summer months. A neem based formulation (Azadirachtin 0.03%) was evaluated against TSM, alone and in combination with conventional acaricides. Azadirachtin was used in 5 dosages whereas, three acaricides i.e., dicofol (2 ml/lit.), ethion (1 ml/lit.) and sulppur W.P (3 g/lit.) in combination with 3 ml/lit. of neem based formulation were used in recommended dosages and also at half the recommended dosages with 3 ml/lit. of neem based formulation. The results of the trial indicated that neem based formulation alone at 5 ml/lit. was most effective to check the population of TSM. The combination of acaricides at half of the recommended dosages with neem base formulation was also found effective in checking the population of TSM.
