Waste problems in urban centers are magnification of those in the rural communities. Hence, there is a need to address farm and household waste holistically. In this study a framework of an integrated and sustainable farm and household waste management and resource recovery systems has been designed. Activities on waste reduction, segregation, recycling and composting including organic and nature farming in sustainable agriculture are now being developed
