Ten lactating dairy cows (4 Holsteins, 4 Holstein x Red Sindhi crossbreds, and 2 Brown Swiss) were used in an experimental feeding period in a reversal type of four weeks each to compare the feeding value of corn gluten feed and copra meal. Each breed was equally represented in both groups of similar age and stage of lactation. The results obtained from the animals fed a concentrate mixture containing 31 percent corn gluten feed and 31 percent copra meal showed no significant differences in the milk production and weight of the animals. This study shows that corn gluten feed is equal in feeding value to copra meal and can be used as efficiently as copra meal.
