The consumer demand for agricultural products free of pesticide residues have initiated biologist to develop strategies to reduce the growing problems on the adverse impact of chemical insecticides. A study to identify the biological control activities of a parasitoid against cotton aphids (Aphis gossypii) was evaluated. This was done to develop an environment-friendly pest management scheme in cotton. The parasitoid was initially identified as Trioxys sp., a solitary endoparasitoid parasitizing a single aphid at a time. The parasitoid has a life span of 14-21 days or an average of 17.43 days under laboratory condition. The parasitization capacity of the parasitoid ranged from 17-24 aphids with an average of 20 aphids per day. This means it can parasitize 162-214 aphids during its whole life or 192.2 + 17.94. Adult longevity range from 9-12 days with an average of 10.5 + 1.29 days.
