We focused on production analyses for eight species of forest herbs: Carex pilosa Scop., Dentaria bulbifera L., Galium odoratum (L.) Scop., Asarum europaeum L., Oxalis acetosella L., Polygonatum multiflorum (L.) ALL., Ranunculus lanuginosus L. a Stellaria holostea L. in the oak-beech forest situated on the west from the Zvolen town during the years 1997-1998. To determine the number and biomass, we founded experimental area on the east slopes of the Velka Straz on southwest boundery of the Zvolen basin. The mean numbers of individuals and the mean value of dry matter wieght was followed: Carex pilosa Scop. 24.24 - 24.04 pc/square m or in biomass 9.7 g/squre m - 7.32 g/square m, Dentaria bulbifera L. 2.96 - 2.45 pc/cubic m or 1.0-1.13 g/cubic m, Galium odoratum (L.) Scop. 1.82-1.96 pc/square m or 0.3- 0.23 g/cubic m, Asarum europaeum L. 1.84-1.65 pc/square m or 1.08-0.53 g/squre 2, Oxalis acetosella L. 4.02-3.69 pc/cubic or 0.37-0.08 g/cubic m , Polygonatum multiflorum (L.) ALL. 0.88-0.89 pc/square m or 0.33-0.45 g/square m, Ranunculus lanuginosus L. 0.51-0.48 pc/square m or 0.3-0.31 g/square m and Stellaria holostea L. 1.31-1.2 pc/square m or 0.13-0.17 g/square m during the years 1997 and 1998
