Thermophilous oak forests with Quercus pubescens agg. belong to the most endangered plant communities on our area. Very high spectrum of the anthropic impacts affect on these stands. The aim of this work was to present the results of the research dealing with these stands in Male Karpaty Mts. There were made 73 releves, 63 releves were classified after analysis into the following three syntaxons of the alliance Quercion pubescenti-petraeae B r.-B 1. 1931: Pruno mahaleb-Quercetum pubescentis Jakucset Fekete 1957, Corno-Quercetum Jakucsez Zolyomi in Zolyomiet Jakucs 1957, Corno-Quercetum Jakucsez Zolyomi in Zolyomiet Jakucs 1957 variant with Melica uniflora. Their claims on 6 chosen ecological factors showed, that our communities are more thermophilous, suboceanical, they prefer half-light, xerophyte-fresh, neutral, moderate-middle nitrogen soils. Canonical correspondence analysis showed inner variability of the syntaxons. Obtained results are discussed in detail
