One hundred day-milk production of 3,667 cows in the Government Dairy Promotion Project were used in this study. Genetic parameter estimates of milk yield at 100 days of production were analyzed by Derivative Free Restricted Maximum Likelihood (DFREML) which were calculated by MTDFREML program. Animal variance, error variance and heritabiligy were 10821.0, 79172.0 and 0.12, respectively, Breeding values were predicted by Best Linear Unbiased Prediction (BLUP) method using PEST program. The average milk yield at 100 days of production was 958.8+-303.0 kilograms. Total number of 283 sires exhibited maximum and minimum breeding values ranging from 96.6 to -146.7 kilograms. The maximum and minimum breeding values of cows were 129.9 and 125.0 kilograms, respectively. Kruskall Wallis One Way Analysis of Variance by ranks showed no difference in average breeding values of sires from different countries while there were differences in average breeding values among cows of different blood level of Bos taurus (p0.01). However there were no differences among average ranking of cows with higher than 62.5 percent Bos taurus.
