Cultural practices on increasing number of root and quality of oil in Ophiopogon intermedius D. Don. was conducted under 50 percent shading at spacing 30*30 centimetres at Pakchong Research Station, Nakhonratchasima province during September 26, 1997-September 27, 1998 found that the fertilizer 13-13-21 at rate 50 kilograms/rai and follow side band 3 months after transplanting at the same formular and same rate had given the heightest dry root weight average 49.81 grams/plant at 12 months, or 846.77 kilograms/rai. The fresh root weight and dry root weight ratio was 3.31:1. The neither used NAA or unused were not statisticcally different.
