Measures for encouraging forest plantation after land allocation in Thanh Hoa province

After accomplishment of land allocation in Thanh Hoa, 90,000 ha of forest and some million trees have been planted. The area forested of the province is estimated at 400,000 ha, at present. This achievement is the result of applicating several measures, such as: (+) Propaganda for forest restoration and against deforestation; (+) Training forestry workers in silvicultural technology; (+) Clearly determining tree species for planting; thoughful organizing seedling supply; (+) Put into practice some policies, necessary for involving the people in forestry.
