The paper shows the results of research in regional changes occurring in plum production at the world level (1979/81-1996/98) and changes in the number of trees, yield and production of plum and main plum products in Yugoslavia. It particularly points out the results of the Yugoslav foreign trade exchange of plum and plum products in the period 1970-1980.
