The two-year investigation has been carried out to find out the influence of pre-irrigation soil humidity on maize grain yield and morphological traits, on the soil type loamy alluvium. The trial was set in random block design with four replications, and the treatments were three pre-irrigation soil moisture (60%, 70%, and 80% of FWC), as well as the control without irrigation.
