The quality of rapeseed meal produced by a new technology (NRM) was tested in several feeding trials with pigs fattened to different weights. Pigs were fed either control feed without rapeseed meal or compound feeds with different concentrations of rapeseed meal produced either by the old or by the new technology. The feed conversion efficiency, digestibility and nitrogen utilization of feeds with NRM were better than the other mixtures tested. The nutritive value of RMN is in average higher by 6 % in comparison with the rapeseed meal produced by the old technology. We can recommend to use NRM concentrations in compound feeds as follows: 4 % for pigs from 18 to 35 kg of live weight, 9.6 % for pigs from 36 to 65 kg, and 12 % for pigs from 66 to 110 kg.
