The use of an inoculant AIV Bioprofit tended to increase the concentration of total organic acids, of lactic acid, crude protein content and to decrease pH value, ammonia content and NDF. No significant changes of inoculated silage were found in aerobic stability. Silage intake of dairy cows was increased and milk yield and contents of fat and protein in milk were increased compared with the ordinary fermented silage
