The Potato Diseases Prevailing in Kvemo Kartli Region

The results of the study on the distribution of main tomato diseases in Kvemo Kartli region has revealed the following diseases: phytoftorosis, alternariosis, fuzariosis, verticilium and dryness. Different agrotechnical, biological and chemical methods can be used for disease prevention. Selection of disease resistant hybrides has proved to be very effective preventive measure as well.
