It is well known that winter wheat is one of the sensitive and responsive crops of all the cereals. Fertilization is a critical element in the crop management of winter wheat and its effect is directly or indirectly influenced by all management factors. Long-term experiments were carried out on chernozem soil in the eastern part of Hungary (Hajdusag). These experiments are based on the Bocz-test, which involves wide rates of nitrogen (with balanced P and K doses).
