[Artificially dried grass production technologies and their development trends]

Artificially dried grass (grass meal) production development, product assesment and usage are presented. Technological versions of production are analysed and development trends of this production branch are provided. It is suggested to revive artificially dried grass production in Lithuania on the basis of the available facilities and later on to expand it to the level of industrial production. It is recomended to investigate production of artificially dried grass with a low fibre content using goat's rue and other non-traditional sources of raw material
