Regional differentiation and utilization of agricultural production area in Poland

The aim of the paper was the evaluation of utilization the agricultural production area in 1990-00. Twenty three variables were taken in the account in order to make this evaluation and next multiple regression and cluster analysis were applied. It was shown, that utilization of the agricultural production area in Poland distincly depend on the region and quality of soils. The best utilization was found in Wielkopolska province, the worst - in Lublin voivodeship. It is also caused by the natural and economic organizational conditions
