Influence of legume-grass mixture utilization system on its productivity and nutritive value

The suitability of legume-grass mixture "IMUZ" to alternating and cutting utilization was estimated. The productivity, chemical composition and nutritive value were estimated. The dry matter yield of mixture utilized in both ways, alternating and cutting was similar. Delayed grazing significantly reduced the yield of dry matter. It was found that the highest protein content and energy concentration in dry matter of the mixture occurred at alternating utilization system
