Response of the microorganisms colonizing the winter wheat roots to the monoculture and crop rotation

Two winter wheat cultivars, grown in monoculture and in crop rotation, were tested for the number of microorgamisms of rhizoplane and rhizosphere. In monoculture the numbers of fungi antagonistic to plant pathogens (Trichoderma, Penicillium) decreased. The most sensitive to cultivation of wheat after wheat were the bacteria of Azotobacter genus. Cultivation system significantly differentiated the population of bacteria hydrolyzing Ca3(PO4)2 during the first year of studies, when the monoculture limited development (growth) of this bacteria group. It was found that the bacteria of Pseudomonas and Actinomycetales genus were rather insensible to cultivation of wheat in monoculture
