A three-year field experiment was conducted in 1993-95. The research concerned the effect of nitrogen fertilization at the different levels of soil moisture content on the uptake and content P, K and Ca in spring triticale. Nitrogen fertilization of spring triticale on light soil did not significantly affect the contents of P, K and Ca in grain. It caused the significant decrease in P content and the increase in K and Ca contents in straw. The level of soil moisture content modified the content of mineral elements in spring triticale grain and straw. On the light soils, the uptake of mineral elements was strongly modified by atmospheric conditions
