Changes of meadow vegetation as affected by grassland management

Clear dependence of plant community character on grassland management (mowing, pastural) was observed. Particularly negative changes in floristic composition of the sward were noted after desisting from grassland use. Marked floristic types of grassland reflect the habitat conditions, particularly the soil moisture content and trophicity. Because of necessity of reducing mineralization process of organic matter in the soil and stopping plant degradation the rational meadow-pasture management should be introduced
