The paper presents vermicomposting of duckweed Lemna minor biomass by Eisenia fetida Sav. earthworm population, in laboratory conditions: duckweed + cattle manure (1:1), steamed duckweed, fresh duckweed and composted duckweed mixed with sludge from sand-trap bottom (1:1). It was shown that the combinations of duckweed + cattle manure, as well as steamed duckweed, were most rapidly processed to vermicompost. The determinations performed on produced vermicomposts comprised the content of macro- and trace elements after prior minralization in a mixture of concentrated acids. The vermicomposting caused odorless bio-transformation of duckweed and the resulting vermicompost was characterized by good tubercle structure and high content of vegetable nutritional ingredients
