Structure analysis of the productivity of some multifoliolate alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.)

The aim of the study is proving the connection between yield of green mass of the multifoliolate alfalfa and its structural elements. In the experiment there were included two Bulgarian multifoliolate alfalfa genotypes- variety Mnogolistna 1-predominated 7 leaflets/leaf; AX-93(5d)-predominated 5 leaflets/leaf. They were compared with three standard trifoliolate Bulgarian varieties-Nadezda 2, Prista and Victoria. The achieved datas suggest that selection based on leaf weight and leaves area could be an important criteria for the improvement yield and quality
