This study depended on economic and social surveys carried out in the study area (the two provinces of Homs and Hama). The questions of the surveys centered on the following: The social aspects, the technical aspects, the economic aspects, the role of the state, the method and methodology of the research. The study concerns sheep, goat and cattle breeders.
