Date palm is the most important tree in the Sudan. It is considered by the people as a source of feeding. This Workshop deals with the problems which this tree faces and proposing the suitable solutions. The lectures included the historical aspect of the date palm tree in the Sudan, the most important agricultural activities as well as several factors for the fruits after collection such as conservation, export and storage. A special chapter devoted for marketing and convertible manufacture.
