Water store evaluation in soil considering plant canopy

A study presented is dedicated to data file transformation on water content in soil aeration zone, obtained by direct monitoring, to information on the plant canopy supply by water during vegetation period. For this purpose the data files of monitored site Lehnice were chosen. Water availability from the aeration zone for the plant canopy is considered according to criteria chosen. These correspond to water store occurrence in intervals delimitated by hydrolimits. Water store courses in the soil aeration zone during monitoring periods throughout a year are presented for the location mentioned and they are evaluated as a water source for the plant canopy using the hydrolimits. It is stated on the basis of the results presented that the data file processed to the information presented for an arbitrary site of a region enables us to evaluate moisture conditions of an area considering the plant canopy. Such analysis provides fundamentals for a technical intervention by which the water store in the soil aeration zone is optimized
