Contribution to the knowledge of Cephenemyia stimulator Clark, 1815 (Diptera, Oestridae) in Spain

A new infestation of roe deer - Capreolus capreolus (Linnaeus) by Oestridae, Cephenemyia stimulator Clark was found in the province of Ciudad Real (Spain). There is not previous mention of this in bibliography. It indicates a new case of miasis in Spain. The biometry of the larvae found in their third and final stage is described and the conclusion is drawn that the infestation was due to the importation from France of already infested roe deer
