Lysimetric investigations were made to determine environmental pollution caused by farms for carnivorous fur animals. The lysimeters were installed after fixing the test stands in the soil according to the instructions of Eijkelkamp factory. Then they were introduced to depths of 30 cm, 60 cm, and 120 cm in three variants, i.e. gravel, sand, and peat soil. The experiments were carried out in 15 series. It was observed that the distribution in the soil profile of the substance examined was fairly diversified and depended on the substrate used. The most efficient infiltration process was recorded in the substrates with a poor sorptive complex - gravel and sand. However, in the substrates with a good sorptive complex, the components may accumulate excessively. Thus lysimetric examination is advisable, particularly in the location of new rearing establishments with special concern for the substrate type and water-bearing layers
