Observation of microclimatic values on the experimental extensive roof and comparative roof was done. The objective is to confirm or confute given hypotheses, namely these: i) vegetative roofs compared with ordinary ones do have better thermo-isolation properties; ii) vegetative roofs compared with ordinary ones have better microclimatic properties, iii) fluctuation of air temperature is higher than fluctuation of soil temperature on vegetative roofs. Measured variables relevant for proving the hypotheses are: i) width of confidential interval of average measured temperature values, variation coefficients of measured evaporation values, iii) soil temperature variance, air temperature variance. The results showed a positive statistical dependence of monitored microclimatical of examined objects
