In this paper instructions for analysis of pumping systems, and choice of best solution with respect of optimal system operation and life cycle cost are given. Firstly in this paper is described life cycle cost analysis, and then recommendations for pumping system design are given. Life cycle cost analysis and solution choice for improvement an existing pumping system are described on one actual example.
