The paper presents the results of the five years' study (1995-1999) dealing with morphological characteristics of the ten apricot varieties that were introduced and grafted on the Prunus insititia stock. The results were obtained under the same agri-ecological growing conditions and by comparison with the variety Hungarian Best. The study included the measurement of rankness and a description of crown forms, characteristic fruit bearing twings, and leaves in the apricot varieties introduced.
