The antibacterial activity of lincomycin and clindamycin was studied on 28 strain isolated from different animals, using the diffusion method of double serial dilution in solid media. It was found that both antibiotics showed high activity against Streptococcus feacalis, Staphylococcus aureus, Corinebacterium pyogenes and Bacillus anthracis (MIC 0,063-4,0 milig/ml). Strains from Enterobacter spp., Pseudomonas spp. and Pasturella multocida showed resistanve to lincomycin and clindamycin (MIC 32-256 milig/ml). Fusobacterium necrophorum is susceptible to both antibiotics (MIC 0,5-1,0 milig/ml).
