英语. Three populations of Meloidogyne incógnita (Mi-1, Mi-2 and Mi-8) were collected from different zones and crops in Cuba and studied morphologically. The chromosome number and host race were determined too. Significant diferentes were observed in the morphological parameters among all the populations. They belong to the cytological race B, though with different number of chromosome. All populations represent the host race 2.

Se caracterizaron morfológicamente tres poblaciones de Meloidogyne incógnita (Mi-1, Mi-3 y Mi-8), colectadas en diferentes zonas de cultivo en Cuba, a estas se les determinó su número de cromosomas y raza fisiológica. Se encontraron diferencias significativas (p 0.05) en la morfometría de los patrones, machos y larvas de las poblaciones. Todas representan la forma diploide (B), aunque exhibieron diferentes intervalos en el número de cromosomas, y pertenecen a la raza fisiológica 2.
