The objectives of this research are: (1) to compare production efficiency of male dairy calve fattening on some different rearing period ; (2) to analyse cost efficiency of dairy cattle fattening on some different fattening period; and (3) to analyse profit at each fattening period. The research used primer data (dairy cattle farmer) and secondary data from GKSI and KPS Bogor. Simulation technique and simple regression method were used to analyse the data. The study showed that production of a 4-month period was more efficient than other periods (average production is 456,14 kg body weigh/ton concentrate). But, the most efficient in production cost is in a 24-month fattening period (AVC=Rp 3540,70/kg body weigh). The most profitable rearing period is in a 18-month fattening period (net profit is Rp 4.990,97/kg body weight). From this study, it was also concluded that BC-Ratio was increased if a longer fattening period was applied.
