The Watershed Management programme showed significant positive relationship of irrigated area, number of milch animals and amount spent on fertilizer with annual family income. A comparative study of traditional skills and knowledge with respect of Watershed Management showed more than 90% variability in the income of farmers between the adopted and non-adopted watershed, and generated 58% extra income proving the viability of the programme.
