Polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic pattern of serum and milk protein in pregnant and non-pregnant goat

In the present study, polyacrylamide gel electrophoretic pattern of protein in serum and milk of pregnant and non-pregnant goats was conducted. The serum of pregnant goats revealed an extra band which was absent in non-pregnant goats. The electrophoretic pattern of milk protein showed remarkable difference between pregnant and non-pregnant goats, where more number of bands were observed in pregnant goats as compared to non-pregnant goats.
