Duck rearing is becoming very popular in Andaman and Nicobar islands as component of integrated farming system. An important problem faced in duckery is high mortality due to diseases and so far no reports on economic loss due to duck diseases are available from the islands. The present study is an investigation of outbreak in a duck farm near Port Blair.
