Swine breeding programmes need emphasis on selection practice for increased growth rate. Relationship of daily weight gains during pre-and post-weaning growth periods have predictive role in determining the magnitude and direction of the correlated response of gain in adult body weights, and are of interest in swine development programmes. The present investigation was undertaken in a herd of Landrace pigs to study the genertic and phenotypic corrlations among daily weight gains at various intervals of pre-and post-weaning growth.
