Effects of Soil Water Potential on the Growth of Young Bletilla Striata

In order to determine the physilogical properties of Bletilla striata, especially on the effects of water content on its growth, physico-chemical properties of the soil at endemic region were analyzed. The growth of B. striata was. also, investigated at various soil texture and water content with artificially prepared soils. The sand (S), sandy loam (SL), sandy clay loam (SCL), and silty clay loam (SiCL) soils were prepared form sand and clay soils.
